Ukraine TRAPPED Russia’s 64-Truck Ammo Convoy on the Last Dam Behind the Front — Then BLEW IT UP
A Russian ammo convoy heads for Kostiantynivka under anti-drone nets for almost the entire route. The one stretch Russia can't cover is a dam.
What happens when the nets run out?
Russian forces have strung mesh "tunnels" of anti-drone netting over supply roads in Donetsk region. The Institute for the Study of War lists the Kostiantynivka direction among Russia's main offensive efforts, and Russia has held the Kleban-Byk reservoir southwest of the city since February 2026, the month DeepState says it bombed a dam near Osykove, flooding a road into the city. After drones hit a Russian truck yard in occupied Donetsk on October 27 (more than 30 trucks by Exilenova+'s count, 21 by Russian-installed officials), Ukraine's Signum drone battalion said Russian drivers were refusing supply runs.
Why did Ukraine leave the netted road alone, and how did a Shilka-M4 gun and Volnorez jammers each lose to a different weakness on the dam?
Reconstruction note: a dramatized reconstruction based on reported fighting around Kostiantynivka, Russian control of the Kleban-Byk reservoir, strikes on Russian supply trucks and Russia's anti-drone netting over supply roads. The convoy, timeline, drones, defenses and damage are illustrative and unconfirmed.
💬 If you had to protect that convoy, where would you have put the Shilka?
