A Bear Was Inside This Abandoned Cabin Before I Arrived

I headed deep into the northern wilderness for a solo overnight stay at my remote log cabin, accompanied by my two loyal dogs. When we arrived, we found total chaos: a wild bear had broken in, smashed the windows, and ransacked everything inside. Before nightfall, I had to clean up the mess and repair the broken window frames using flexible plastic glass I brought with me to keep the cold and wind out. Later, I hiked out to the nearby swamp to retrieve my trail camera — and it revealed the exact bear that paid us a visit. Having two dogs by my side gave me a sense of security, but spending the night in a cabin marked by a bear is never easy.
