Anywhere close to the water is my favorite place to be. There is something incredibly soothing about this constant flow. Before I start playing, I love to tap into the energy and feeling of the place I find myself in, and start expressing from there. Reading the environment and seeing my playing as something that enhances what is already there, has been a practice that I started tapping into more and more over these years of playing. It makes me more aware of my surroundings and is a deeply personal interpretation at the same time. It requires becoming still & present enough to truly listen. That makes playing & expressing myself on this instrument a practice, that makes me more attuned to life as well. I hope that this piece brings you whatever you need in this very moment.
