Episode 15 with itsjayyce: Living a Creator Educator Career after leaving her 9-5

Today's episode dives into Jasmine’s journey on she took control of her life after leaving her role, her experience with hitting virality on social media and how life for her is like as a Creator Educator. Jasmine and I met through our mutual friend Ian who was my guest on the podcast previously as well! She recalled her experience from doing a 30-day challenge on social media, and what she gained from it particularly from the mindset perspective and how her previous startup experience has molded her perspective to content on 2 criteras: shipping an MVP quickly and iterate from it, and to embrace failure. She attributed those largely to her experience in architecture school and her time working as a UI/UX designer at a startup. It was so interesting to hear her perspective on the importance of picking a niche especially when you want to start out your content creation journey which you HAVE to tune it to learn more from as she dropped some golden nuggets on how to start. The biggest takeaway I got from Jasmine is that she’s always trying and pushing herself towards her goals despite facing various challenges, and how she stays grounded to her experience doing the 30-day challenge and her faith despite amazing 85k followers across all platforms. Here is something interesting that Jasmine mentioned: “Yes having a following has given me leverage in terms of brand deals, but more importantly it’s important that my audience is still getting value from my content.
