Peru by road: one journey from the Pacific coast at Lima to Machu Picchu and down into the Amazon, filmed in 4K. We start at sea level in Lima, follow the Pan-American Highway south past Paracas, the Ballestas Islands, the dunes of Huacachina and the Nazca Lines, then climb to Arequipa and over a high pass into the Colca Canyon, where condors ride the morning air. Across the altiplano we reach Lake Titicaca and the floating islands of the Uros, then Cusco, Sacsayhuamán and Rainbow Mountain, the highest point of the trip at more than 5,000 metres.
