6 Jigging Tips I Wish I'd Learned Earlier
Mechanical or speed jigging is one of the most effective — and addictive — ways to target large predatory fish… but it’s also one of the easiest methods to get wrong.
In this video, I share six lessons that’ve transformed my own jigging over the years… & led to some of my most exciting — and sometimes devastating — experiences on the water. Whether you fish from a kayak or a boat, these tips will help you catch more fish and donate fewer jigs to the reef.

Jigging can be brutal though. Most of the species we target using this style of fishing — amberjack, yellowtail kingfish, GTs, & others — are built for raw power. But that’s exactly what makes it so addictive. When everything comes together & a big fish absolutely smokes your jig, there are few experiences that compare… in fishing & life in general.
If you've got any jigging tips or tricks of your own, drop them in the comments... I'm always keen to learn.
