Why You Wouldn’t Survive a Zombie Outbreak on a Cruise Ship

Jack’s Apocalypse124回視聴投稿日: 2026/11/06
The biggest cruise ships carry almost 10,000 people, days away from the nearest port. In February 2020, about 3,700 of them were held aboard the Diamond Princess in Yokohama for two weeks, and that quarantine is the closest real test we have of one question: what happens when an outbreak starts on a ship with no way off? Swap the virus for a bite, and there are only two answers. Lock everyone in their cabins, or get everyone off as fast as possible. A locked cabin door is almost a perfect barrier against teeth, and fire doors can split the ship into sealed blocks from the bridge. But the crew still has to move, the food still has to arrive, and the crew corridors are exactly where it spreads. And the general emergency alarm, the one built to save everybody, might be the most dangerous sound on the ship. So which would you choose? Stay behind your door, or head for the lifeboats? Tell me in the comments, and on which day you would break.
