The Bayraktar Just Became a Drone Mothership

This looks like the future of drone defense, not strike The drone mothership is a very real thing and we’ve got a new addition to the mix from Turkish defense manufacturer Baykar. You may remember the Bayraktar TB-2, this is the upgraded version that can carry up to 16 first person view drones however there’s some real concern about it’s effectiveness on the modern battlefield. We also have Ukraine opening up investment opportunities into their defense sector and the US military forging ahead in the unmanned ground vehicle game, committing more than $115M in 2026 alone.
