Ken Matsuzaki, Master Potter, The Search for Yōhen

Ken Matsuzaki 松崎 健 http://www.yuushin-gama.com/ I was given the opportunity to visit Ken Matsuzaki, master potter, at his workshop and kiln in Mashiko. I wanted to get to know him better and understand what goes into creating such beautiful artworks. Ken allowed me to delve into his thoughts and passions and now I want to share that with you. Ken’s retrospective exhibition is still showing at Mashiko Museum of Ceramic Art until the 12th of January 2026.
