We Cycled 80km Across Japan's Most Beautiful Road - Was it Worth It?

We biked the Shimanami Kaido, a 70km+ cycling route in Japan stretching across 6 different islands - but was it worth it? We take 2 days to explore the numerous islands in the Seto Inland Sea, coming across beautiful beaches such as Setoda Sunset Beach, unique temples such as Kosanji Temple, charming towns, scenic views and observatories of the Kurushima Kaikyo Bridge, and eating the most delicious citrus we have ever tried! We also have the added challenge of surviving this multi-day journey as vegans. This is the biggest physical challenge we have attempted while traveling, and it is an adventure that I have DREAMED of doing for the last 10 years.
