【Gourmet #fukuoka #Japan 🇯🇵】The best of #omakase #kaiseki #ramen lunches and dinners #michelin
Our recent trip to Fukuoka was truly memorable, filled with standout Japanese fine dining at every turn. We began with fresh seafood served in a traditional setting—simple, elegant, and bursting with flavour. Next, we enjoyed a Michelin-guided #omakase #kaiseki dinner featuring 11 courses. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, making the entire experience feel both refined and personal.
One highlight was a small yakitori restaurant that was notoriously difficult to book. We got lucky after walking in and being seated—though we still waited more than 45 minutes, right in the heart of the busy atmosphere. It was absolutely worth it.
We also found the best wagyu #shabushabu on the top floor of a building overlooking the river. The view added an extra layer of calm to an already incredible meal.
And of course, we couldn’t miss Fukuoka’s famous #kyushu ramen. We tried it twice—once in a classic traditional style, and once as a creative fusion interpretation featuring Western influences. That fusion approach was guided by the head chef, 西村 (#Nishimura)—#Michelin-starred chef Takahito Nishimura.
