Living Alone but NOT Lonely: What Finally Worked for Me
Retired fire captain. Widower. Six years living alone, and I've learned a few things.
I'm Ray Callahan. I'm 71, and I spent thirty two years with the fire department in Dayton, Ohio. When my wife Linda passed in 2020, I found myself living alone for the first time in my life, at 65, with no idea how to run a house on my own.
This channel is for the man who just got there, and for the one who has been at it a while and wants it to go better. Every episode is one practical list: the house, the kitchen, the money, the paperwork, and the quiet. My own mistakes first, then what finally worked.
I'm not a doctor or a financial advisor. Nobody pays me and there is nothing to buy.
New episode every day. Tell me where you're watching from. I read every one.
