富山市東岩瀬にある「GEJO」 へ行ってまいりました。訪問日は2025年12月となります。 富山駅から富山地鉄富山港線に乗って、競輪場前駅下車。少し歩くと江戸時代初期から日本海を行き来する北前船の港町として栄えた岩瀬エリアがあります。ノスタルジックな古い町並みが今も残る街で、古い建物を活かした並びに、今回ご紹介する「GEJO」があります。 「GEJO」は2020年1月にオープン。富山の食材を中心にしながらも、「自分が世界で出合ったものを、そのおいしさのまま届ける」を念頭に、独創的な食材や料理にも出会えます。 富山へ行かれる機会がありましたら、「GEJO」で食事を楽しまれてみては如何でしょうか。 I visited GEJO in Higashi-Iwase, Toyama City. My visit was in December 2025. Take the Toyama Chiho Railway Toyamako Line from Toyama Station and get off at Keirinjo-mae Station. A short walk brings you to the Iwase area, which flourished as a port town for Kitamaebune ships traveling across the Sea of Japan since the early Edo period. This is a town where nostalgic old streets still remain, and in a row of old buildings, you will find GEJO, which we will introduce to you today. GEJO opened in January 2020. While it focuses on ingredients from Toyama, it also serves original ingredients and dishes, with the goal of "delivering the deliciousness of the things I've encountered around the world."
